Wan-Chi Punga, designer and plant specialist at Huser’s Firefighter Lawn + Landscape, has plant love in her DNA. A PNW native, Wan-Chi graduated with a degree in Ornamental Horticulture with a specialization in Landscape Design. During her studies, she worked as a part of the college’s Green team as their Community Garden Coordinator, she also volunteered her time on an organic farm and has a passion for Urban Farming/Homesteading. After graduating Wan-Chi worked as part of a nursery and design team for six years before becoming a mother and temporarily shifting her focus to the cut flower industry for three years. An all-around plant nerd, Wan-Chi routinely has even her most plant savvy friends begging for a change in topic. In her rare free time she enjoys spending time outdoors with her children, gardening, dabbling in floral design and sitting on the patio with a cup of coffee/tea and a good book – Wan-Chi recently moved to Indianapolis to be closer to her family and is ready to spread her love of plants, one landscape at a time.
